Sick Bees

 On their latest, The Marina Album, female trio Sick Bees deliver another noise-punk album filled with plenty of loud, screaming guitars, random sounds, and punk intensity. Dissident and all over the map, Sick Bees' focus is there is no focus. And where others flounder at doing this, the Sick Bees thrive, creating a record that is as raucous as it can be, noisy just to be noisy, and so unapologetic its hard to understand what is going on. And that there is the secret to the Sick Bees and The Marina Album and why the album, even without structure, creates its own structure. I'll give it a B-.
