Spanic Boys
Torture (Checkered Past)

 Loud roots-rock with plenty of punch, the Spanic Boys know how to create an album filled with bright guitars, biting rhythms, catchy hooks, and plenty of momentum. Though, the one oversight of this album is the vocals, which, instead of playing to the music, drown the songs with muddy, mumbled words, and hard to understand sentences that makes the songs a wash. Another perfectly good band and group of songwriters ruined by bad vocals. I'll give this a C.
