El Jefe
El Jefe's Amorphous Phormula (Zip Records)

By: Alex Steininger

A bad combination of hard rock, ambient music, rap, and pop, El Jefe bring them all together to create an ultra-white sound that might as well include some funk to really drive home all the bad elements. The disc is pretty much unlistenable, as the rhymes are weak, the lyrics boring, and the comedy of the album - yes, they're obviously trying to be funny - just doesn't take. I'll give it a D-.
