Lamplighter
A Three Point Perspective (Woodson Lateral)

By: Alex Steininger

Spooky instrumentals, the soundtrack to a horrifying film that builds and builds before climaxing (or making you believe it is climaxing) when you turn the corner, expecting a mass murderer, and find nothing there. Taking a break and giving a big sigh of relief, you drop your guard, and that is when it (or rather the mass murder if this were a horror film) hits you, and you run scrambling, unprepared and terrified. Lamplighter's A Three Point Perspective has got jazz, avant-garde, and ambient leanings as it takes you on a long, drawn out ride of mind bending instrumentals. I'll give it a B-.
