 Heavy meal meets Vaudeville, Fantomas' The Director's Cut is a hard rock breath of fresh air, beating out the thousands of rap-metal acts for the best hard rock sound out there today. Oft operatic, the band leads you through bloody, fiery metal wounds and pretty, delicate pop-opera made to lick your wounds. This is genius metal at its best, incorporating sounds and textures that have been lacking from metal for some time. If you're into metal or hard rock and want something new, look no further. I'll give this an A.
