 After years of supporting her husband as rhythm guitarist, Tanya Rae Brown has stepped out front on her debut EP Meet the Mrs. With her husband Jr Brown along on guitar (lead and steel) and providing a vocal duet on "His and Hers", Tanya Rae shows she can hold her own, displaying solid vocal chops on cuts ranging from the swinging "Gad About" and barn burning "I Wouldn't Buy A Used Car From Him" (check out Mr Brown's stellar guitar-work on this one) to Gospel with the beautiful "In Remembrance Of Me" and a pure tear jerker with the aforementioned "His and Hers". I for one am hoping that the Mrs shows her face up front a little more often from now on.
