 Engaging folk-rock with soulful vocals, Soulhat can jam and throw a party or subdue with weaving moments of folk intimacy and bouncy rock fun. Experiment On A Flat Plane is the kind of album you put on when you want to have fun; be it cooking dinner and having something to enjoy, a night out on the town, or just to relax and feeling the loving vibes the album puts out. Tight, but not to the point that it kills the jams, Soulhat reaches you with solid folk grooves and plenty of rock appetite. I'll give it a B.
