New American Mob
All Mob Cons (RAFR Records)

By: Jeb Branin

If punk rock was born as a stripped down breed of rock n' roll them NEW AMERICAN MOB must be pure punk. Harsh, dirty, no frills rock n' roll. It is a sweaty, blue jeans and blue collar kind of sound. Bar room worthy and concert hall ready, the N.A.M. is as comfortable whipping out a three chord chorus as flying through a guitar solo. N.A.M. reject all the doctrine of the punk rock elite and recognize that there is as much fertile ground to be explored in the land of the NEW YORK DOLLS, THE DICTATORS and MC5 as there is in the land of THE SEX PISTOLS. This is one of those bands that comes at you with no pretenses and nothing to prove other than the fact they know how to rock your world. No gimmicks, no tricks, no agenda, just loud guitars, loud drums, loud vocals, loud bass and a kick in the teeth.
