High And Mighty
Single-Open Mic Night/The Meaning (Eastern Conference)

By: Wes Eckmayer

With all the playa-hate and anti-playa hate, it seems to come down to joe regular. Not false moralists who pretend to damage with the Wrath of trying to add up their egos. Or businessmen who like a 13 year-old girl say your jealous every time you point out they stuff their bras with hits of the past with corporate backing. Who represents the average Hip hop fan on the street that is broke, working a wak job and eating fast food even they know its bad for them? The bad food makes them overweight. All their money is spent on the only thing that makes them happy: Hip Hop. Being overweight and broke leads to masturbation. This is the record that represent this cats.

One side of this single, "The Meaning", is definite play-hate. High and Mighty's mc Mr Eon has the nerve to complain about the corporate control that is making wak mcs rich while the culture suffers. At the end they run down the artists they felt should've been number one. The flip side is "Open Mic Night" which has the losers hero showing that He has the skills to back up his hatred of the wak shit playa karouke rap. This strictly on some rock the party type ish. On both sides the production is outstanding. This cats deliver both sentiment and skill. So is it playa-hate to be frustrated with the rich cats have turned your culture in an corporate marketing scheme?
