Plymptoons (Indie DVD)

Animator Bill Plympton's shorts appeal to everyone, from vacuous stoners to educated, discriminating--stoners. Really, it's just fun stuff, eye candy with underlying social commentary that's a barrel of laughs. Long available (if somewhat scarce) on VHS, this collection of Plympton's finest works (spanning 1968-90 and including the classics "How to Kiss" and "25 Ways to Quit Smoking") is finally on DVD. Special features include an introduction by Plympton and Troma president Lloyd Kaufman, commentary tracks with Plympton, rare early footage, comic gallery, and two featurettes. A
