 Nu Metal is a combination of hardcore and melodic rock with a slight death metal bent. Five Pointe O lives up to this definition, creating gut-wrenching vocal screams that soon slide into melodic singing, while the band cruises along, crushing you under mountains of metal before sliding a hook or two under your feet and dragging you along. As much as you want to hate it, they're better than most, and their understanding of melody, hardcore, and metal make them a winner if you want some good nu metal. I'll give it a B.
