Twisted Nerve Label Sampler: Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Twisted Nerve, But Were Afraid To Ask (Twisted Nerve)

By: Alex Steininger

The UK's Twisted Nerve, a label known for quality experimental and electronic-based pop music, has released a label sampler, Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Twisted Nerve, But Were Afraid To Ask. Now, people unfamiliar or not fully educated with the label can better expose themselves to the talent on this great label.

Badly Drawn Boy offers up three cuts, "Shake The Rollercoaster", "Celebrate", and "Whirlpool" (featuring AndyVotel). The first one is a lo-fi pop-folk singer-songwriter number, whereas "Celebrate" is an experimental pop concoction. And "Whirlpool" is a long lasting, dreamy electronic-laced pop number.

Sirconical, DOT, MUM&DAD, AndyVotel, Alfie, and others deliver songs on the experimental side of things, including experimental pop, dreamy electro-pop, and various other quirky pop forms.

This is a record label that encourages left of the dial creativity, allowing their artists to roam and stray when creating top-notch pop songs. This is a great way to expose yourself to the label. I'll give it an A-.
