J Church
One Mississippi (Honest Don's)

By: Alex Steininger

J Church writes catchy pop-punk songs that sometimes have more in common with The Beatles than NOFX. Piano and acoustic guitars are spread out throughout the album, ensuring, unlike the majority of pop-punk albums, that you won't feel like you're hearing the same song over and over again. And, did I mention there are twenty-six songs on this album, making the album last over seventy minutes? In this day and age of careers and longevity, its rare for a band to lay it all out on the line and give fans a whole lot of music for the price of a single full-length. I'll give this a B+.
