Noxious Emotion
Symbols (ADSR Musicwerks)

By: DJ Dysdynia

Noxious Emotion, after appearing on several well known compilations has now released Symbols. FPMO was one of the bands earlier songs appearing on the Ras Dva 4 CD set, There Is No Time. Symbols is less experimental, less chaotic and less raw. The programming is minimal but sufficient to peak an interest and keep a good beat. The sounds are simple, clean and pure - no over layered industrial grind. The synth, vocals, and keyboards predominant and repetitive guitar riffs are non existent. The CD works and flows very well with a less is more principle. Noxious Emotions is refining their earlier style and doing away with any undesirable noise that would get lost in the mix. Many Industrial songs begin on good premise but then all the electronica gets piled up, layered, and then filtered, loosing the original rhythm. Noxious Emotion makes simple work, and work well.
