The Wallflowers
Bringing Down the Horse

By: [email protected]

Bringing Down the Horse, the Wallflower's second album, is folk-rock at its best. The album allows lead singer Jakob Dylon to escape the shadow of his famous father Bob. Loaded with his own far out lyrics and catchy guitar rifts, Bringing Down the Horse is worthy of the Dylon name. Even with a legend's son at the helm, life in the music business has not been easy for The Wallflowers. After their self-titled debut album only sold with so-so results, Dylon and crew left their record company--Virgin Records. After nearly broke up, they regrouped and sighed with Interscope Records. If current hit songs One Headlight, 6th Avenue Heartache, and The Difference are a sign of the future, The Wallflowers are here to stay.
